I was having lunch with some of my student leaders and they were telling me about their "past relationships". At some point, one of the students turned to the boy next to her and asked, "William, why don't you have a girlfriend?"
William very confidently replied, "I don't want a girlfriend right now. What's the point? We're just going to go to different schools next year."
I smiled at William to mask the chuckle on the inside. It's amazing how mature some of these kids can be.
