Men go abroad to wonder at the heights of mountains, at the huge waves of the sea, at the long courses of rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motions of the stars; and they pass by themselves without wondering. -Saint Augustine
Going to the beach and hearing the strong crashes of the waves, driving down the streets and seeing the beauty of the mountains half-covered in snow, quieting my heart and listening to the gentle trickle of water running down a stream...all these things have always made me marvel at their Creator. How creative He is. How big He is. How thoughtful He is.
The God who created these things also created the people He gifted these things to. The God who created the big and magnificent also took the time to design the smallest details in the human body. Take a look at the structure of the protein molecule laminin in our bodies. This protein is what holds our bodies together.

The Creator of the universe who created all these things of nature that I marvel at, also created the most intimate details of our beings. I marvel at the detail of His design, the lengths He went to to leave His mark on each human body as a sign that we are loved and cared for and held together by Him, the Creator of all things.
El Shaddai. The God who is big enough to help but tender enough to care.
