There are days when you question everything you've done all year. On those days you wonder if any work you did with the kids had any significance. You wonder if you've taught them enough to send them onto second grade in 3 months. You wonder if the things you taught and spent the most time on was what you were really suppose to be teaching. You wonder how the heck you are going to move them up yet another 3 reading levels in 3 months. (1st grade reading is like running a race that never ends). On those days you look at your curriculum and try to revamp it all in one night in a desperate attempt to get them to where you think they should be yet you realize...it's kinda too late.
It's been one of those days. I wonder what their second grade teachers will say...
Welcome back from Spring Break!
Ok. So maybe it's 11pm and I'm being melodramatic with too many ideas and re-pacing desires flooding my head. Definitely not crying out for affirmation, but prayers are appreciated. =)
