As I was eavesdropping on a conversation between two of my students today, I heard one say, "I like pizza, and.... that's an opinion."
And, as I was waiting for one of my last students to be picked up for the day I told him, "We'll wait five more minutes and then call your mom. How does that sound?" His reply... "That's an idiom, Ms. Wong, but it sounds great."
...The little things that make me chuckle to myself... What am I doing to these kids?
