I've been having a hard time figuring out what has gotten into Joshua lately. He's suddenly so studious, works so well with his seat partner, and has calmed down a lot. The mystery of it hasn't bothered me - I'll take the change for whatever reason, known or unknown - but it has made me very happily curious.
Then I found out today. Joshua has a little crush on his seat partner! No wonder they work so well together! It's actually really cute watching them. He even asked her for her number the other day! (He told me it was because he was too shy to call me at home to ask for help on his homework...)
Maybe I should ask all my kids who their crushes are and have them all sit next to each other. =)
